Yash Pratap Singh is a Program Associate with the Sustainable Cities and Transport program at the World Resources Institute. He is currently working on an Electric Bus project that involves policy and strategy framework, operations and innovative business models for cities. His work involves advanced data analytics and GIS mapping in other projects like urban freight and EV demand mapping. His area of interests is electric mobility, urban freight and micro-mobility.

Prior to joining to the institute, Yash worked with EV logistics and supply chain startup assisting in managing the entire fleet operations, partnering in key initiatives from concept building to execution, helping in building the supply chain of EVs pan India and helping with the latest technologies in the logistics space for EV ecosystem.

He has closely worked with academic’s Institutes, NGOs, government agencies – TCPO, startup (e-commerce EV) and MNC’s like AECOM on various macro-level transportation projects to micro-level including National Rail Plan – 2050, Assessment of Service Level benchmark for Public Transport System of Surat Bus service to Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) projects.

Yash holds a master’s in Transportation Planning and Logistics Management from the School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal and a bachelor's in Urban and Regional Planning from Amity University, Gurugram. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportations (CIHT) and the Indian Road Congress (IRC).

In his free time, Yash enjoys travelling, photography and reading.
