Project Associate - GeoAnalytics; Sustainable Cities and Transport

Bio

Jyoti is the Project Associate with the Geo Analytics team in the Sustainable Cities and Transport program at WRI India. She uses remote sensing principles and GIS methods to analyze data and produce visuals to understand complex geospatial relationships. She works across multiple domains such as resource management and urban planning.

Prior to joining WRI India, Jyoti interned with the Sustainable Cities and Transport as a Google Summer of Earth Engine program. She had also been a part of Risk Management Solutions (RMS), where she has used remote sensing and GIS tools to characterize urban areas in an accurate manner.

Jyoti is a civil engineer from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and holds a master’s in Remote Sensing and GIS from the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka.

She currently lives in Agra and loves to sing and play the guitar in her leisure time. Jyoti enjoys sharing covers of her favorite songs on her YouTube channel.
